1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village, the one with which you wish to join Nighthaven?
Fece, Druid, level 38 currently. I also have a mage and warrior at level 70 but only really plan to play druid in TBC.
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
I am from the UK, but I work shifts, so half the time I play during the day, the other half during the night.
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
From 2004 to 2007 I was on the RP server Earthen Ring, and helped lead an RP guild. From 2008-2012 I was on the PVP-RP server Defias Brotherhood and lead a successful social guild. Dabbled with retail WoW a few times since but could not get back into it fully. Have played Classic since the start, just had a time out for the last year.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic TBC? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
The community! I struggle with the games content sometimes as it is all very temporary. It is the friendships that gives everything a deeper meaning. The game is just a mechanic for us to use to get to know each other better and bond over shared goals and experiences.
5. What are your goals in Classic TBC, and what do you look forward to the most?
Spiritually speaking - To find a community that could be part of my life, to have people I can spend my free time with online.
Literally speaking - I enjoy druid healing, in WotLK I plan to dungeon and PvP heal.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
What really swung it for me was the mention of social activities and larger guild events in the forum post. I have been in a few social guilds in classic but their version of an event was to spend 4 hours raiding once a week. I am looking mostly for the extra content outside of the game mechanics, community building and larking about with each other, and it seems you might offer this.
7. What qualities do you have to offer, and what do you expect of your guild?
I am sociable and enjoy a chat, friendly to others, like to build up those around me to make our joint experience better. My expectations of a guild would be for a mature space to discuss lifes events, to have people willing to socialise with, and to not take everything too seriously. The second half of this question is probably the deepest one here, would like to discuss it further to see if we are a good fit.
8. Where did you hear of us?
The recruitment forum
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
No
10. Is there anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I have a an array of dorky pictures of my dog I am willing to share!
