What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Iyikandris, level 51+ Night Elf Druid.
What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
21:00-23:00 GMT+1
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I started playing in 2005, or was it 2006. Either way, it was original Vanilla days. For the entire Vanilla experience I was pretty much by myself, did not join a guild until the Burning Crusade threatened all of Azeroth with destruction. I raided in a social raiding guild during that expansion and Wrath of the Lich King, good times. After Wrath of the Lich King, my play time diminished, the content never seemed as exciting as before. I always managed to reach max level and do some dungeons, but was never into the raiding scene. When Classic came out, I switched to it fulltime, but my real life tends to interfere at times, causing me to stop playing for a few months. My current goal is to reach level 60, after that, looking to do some dungeons as a healer.
What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
My favorite thing is that when you achieve something, it's actually an achievement. Just reaching 60 shows commitment. Even though raiding seems to be the endgame for most, it is not for me. I have a limited amount of play time and would rather enjoy friendly banter, the occassional dungeon. My current goal (other than reaching 60) would be to get the dungeon set, as I'm into looking the part with matching gear.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
From your "charter", I read you are a social guild with some dungeon running sprinkled in there occasionally. I'm not into the hardcore schedule of a raiding guild or raiding in general. If there is ever a fun run and my real life schedule would permit me to join, I would love to, but it is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for some socializing as I'm currently in the guild I joined on the retail game. In the meantime, most of my guildies have moved back to the retail version. That makes the chat quite empty, I'm usually talking to myself and they say it might be the first sign of going crazy.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I'm pretty laid back, not overly stressing about achieving anything in particular in the game. After all, it's still just a game. Ever since the Burning Crusade I've been into the healing side of things and would like to do this in a slightly more organized fashion than a PUG. I'm hoping I can do some occasional dungeon run in between the socializing.
Where did you hear of us?
I was looking for a guild to join on the Blizzard forum and your ad was nearly at the top of the list in the pyrewood village section. Not only that, everything that was mentioned there made me go "hmmm, yes, this looks like a match for me".
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
No
Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I like strawberries and donuts. I really do, just ask my wife.
