What is your character name (in-game) and what class do you play?
My character name is Melitha and she is a Night Elf Druid (very popular choice)
What hours do you typically play (cite time zone as well.)
I normally play between the hours of 1830 and 2200 Monday to Friday (GMT) and random hours on the weekend when I have time
What is your experience with World of Warcraft (how long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc?)
I have played WoW since 2005 and have played throughout each expansion. I originally started out as a core member of a raiding team, on the side I did good amounts of PvP, I also had active characters on RP servers, but being a raider was my primary focus. I maintained this for several years and as I grew older my personal situation changed, at first I could do the raids but i couldn't give the same time commitment to grinding all wekeend to get mats, pots etc... As a result I started to move away from raiding, I stayed active in smaller 5/10 mans. I eventually started to play fairly casually, focussing on 5 man content, and towards BfA I really only played alone, doing quests, dailies, LFR etc...
About a year ago I started playing on a private vanilla server, I always enjoyed the fun of playing back in the beginning. The private server world was riddled with challenges so i also set up my own private server, which i played on with a few good friends and my eldest boy. It made me realise it wasn't really the expansion I was playing, it was the people and taking on challenges with new people. In summary I have played most types of server, done most raids, levelled nearly all classes!
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.
I would like to join Nighthaven as your broadcast in Darkshore stood out. Out of all the messages about new guilds in stood out to me as it wasn't a call for 10 people to sign to get a Guild name, it wasn't just a message to say join. It was an invitation to find out more and understand what you are all about.
I went to your site and really liked what I read and saw. I like that you are open and transparent about what your values are and that you have good structure in place to support those values. I am not really looking for a guild, I am looking for a home, and Nighthaven looks pretty close to what that is like. A safe place for me to enjoy my time in the game, a place I can get help and offer help, a place that when I log on, people say hello!
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
Without sounding too cliche (hopefully) I am trustworthy, kind, light-hearted and considerate. I like to get stuck in and help, be apart of something. I am very proud to represent the things I put my heart into. I hopefully have a wealth of experience in-game which will help both old and new members achieve the things they want and provide me with the fun and comradeship I am after!
I know a bit about computing as well, so if you need any support/help I might be able to offer assistance too if it was ever needed
I would like the guild to provide a safe environment for everyone to have fun and support each other and to maintain that as it grows. As I say above, my circumstances have changed since the early years, I am married and have children now and RL will always come first and I hope that this is a place which can understand and support that. There will be times I have to step away because my youngest wakes up. I can't guarantee my time but I can guarantee I will give everything I can when I am on.
Where did you hear of us?
I saw a broadcast in Darkshore a few days ago by Alunaria to take a look at the website! Which I did and today I spoke with her in game
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
I don't
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I don't think so but happy to answer any questions you may have to understand if I am a good fit!
Thanks for taking the time to read through this
