What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Freezeburn, mage, lvl. 58
Also some small alts. I will give them more love when Freezeburn is 60.
What hours do you typically play? (Cite time zone as well.)
Evenings, but mostly during weekends. Rarely on weekdays. Time zone: GMT+1.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I started playing the original version of Word of Warcraft during the EU beta and played it without breaks until and including the Wratch of the Lich King expansion. Or maybe the one after this because I remember having one of those worgen. Anyway, at some point I decided I had seen everything there was to see and tried everything there was to try, and so I stopped.
I have very fond memories of the insane amounts of time I spent on Massi the warlock and all the great people I had the pleasure to get to know during my stay on good old Silvermoon server.
When my wife told me of the Classic revival, I was sceptical and dismissed it completely to begin with, but then she convinced me to try it out after all, and I haven't regretted. Revisiting the old world is both fun and nostalgic in a good way.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.)
I guess it's the "social" part of your guild description that appeals to me most. I have no ambitions of getting to the same level I was on during vanilla, and there is no room in my life for raiding, grinding PVP honour etc. I love doing the quests and an occasional instance, but it's a multiplayer game after all, so presence of cheerful company in the guild chat would be most welcome.
Another thing I'm looking for is a guild that is not THAT large. I did join a huge guild here on the Village, but I somehow didn't fit, so I thanked them politely for the time I was allowed to be member and decided to look for something else, and so I found you guys.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I offer my good mood and my easy-going, helpful personality every weekend (as I mentioned, I hardly play during weekdays). Some even say I have humour, but they probably lie to please me.
I don't expect much in return - just some fun in the guild chat and maybe an occasional instance or two.
Where did you hear of us?
Your add on the Blizzard forum.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
Sadly, no.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I know your current recruitment status is closed, but you can save this application and decide later when you open up again.
Yours truly
