1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village, the one with which you wish to join Nighthaven?
Roshira, Rogue lvl 71
2. What hours do you typically play?
CEST - Varies - I'm studying and have a job alongside so I'm often online in the evenings but if I'm studying from home I might also be fishing and gathering through the day
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft?
Started playing on my brother's account in Vanilla maybe around 2006, and joined properly with my own account in TBC Christmas 2007. I have played on and off through the years since then, I think the only expansion I fully missed was BFA.
Very much in it for the rolling around exploring and collecting - not a raider at all (so far), barely even got to do too many dungeon runs, essentially because by the time I got to max level, or by the time I had ok gear, everyone knew how everything worked and was getting really angry when people didn't already know boss mechanics and I didn't want to be yelled at. I also just like to just play to play and not look up guides for the best gear/talents/stats etc so it was tricky to keep up with the min/max police
Started playing Classic a few months ago
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic WotLK?
So far it's just been amazing to experience everything properly for the first time, I didn't really do much other than battlegrounds, and pretty much only Warsong Gulch, until patch 3.2 (and then I didn't know that you could turn off xp gains *face palm*) so I didn't really spend any time in Outlands or Northrend when they were current content. It's just been so fun to explore and the vibe is so relaxing and the entire weight of the future of Azeroth hasn't been placed on my shoulders (which is what everything feels like in retail for me). I like taking my time, I like gathering herbs and fishing, I'm quite quiet but it's been nice to join groups now and again and people seem a bit more welcoming and happy to group up at the moment.
5. What are your goals in Classic WotLK, and what do you look forward to the most?
I would really like to try dungeons and raids so I'm hoping to find a community that won't yell at me the first time I step in something by accident etc. I've only managed to play through a lot of places soloing on my retail account so I'm not super aware of many of the mechanics, but I really want to learn.
Definitely looking forward to actually getting to follow the story and content when it's current
I am also looking forward to working on achievements, especially in cooking and fishing
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven?
I'm in my 30s and I was looking for a group of people who are a bit more chill, willing to help out their fellow guildies, and aren't so scarily hardcore as every other guild seems to be rn. It also feels like you're accepting of members who might not be so experienced in certain areas which sounds so refreshing and lovely. From everything I've read you sound like a great group of inclusive people
7. What qualities do you have to offer, and what do you expect of your guild?
I'm a very supportive person so especially in regards to helping out other guildies if we're trying something new, or if people need a little more time or guidance, I can definitely empathise and am very open and willing to take things slowly, offer encouragement and build a safe space.
I am a happy little gatherer If people need mats or food or herbs and whatnot, I really enjoy going out and gathering things for a purpose.
I would expect that the guild upholds its values, and actually strives to continue to be the inclusive and non-toxic environment that it seems to be.
8. Where did you hear of us?
My partner found the guild, we've been looking for something that would suit us for a while, I imagine he's also just applied
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven?
Nope
10. Is there anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I'm already overthinking this far too much so my mind has gone a bit blank, but feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions, or write to me in game if I'm online Always happy to talk. I know there's a bit of a waiting period so yeah, just grab me for a chat in the meantime if you like
