1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village, the one with which you wish to join Nighthaven? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
Main = Drecs - Druid lvl 70
Alt = Lanes - Mage - level 18
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
UK based so play on CET -1, I work from home 5 days a week generally and like to game in the evenings when family are settled, my peek hours sit in line with the guild, roughly 20:00 till late most evenings.
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
On and off I have played since vanilla launch, at 38 years old I have played it all, having played every expac for a period of time, pretty much daily up into MOP when real life and children coming along at a time where I was also starting to lose some passion for wow.
I have played at various levels, from hardcore raider 5 nights a week on new raid cycle in my younger days to ultimate casual just enjoying leveling whilst the kids where asleep. I would say now that my role is that of a passionate casual who will spend most of the time relaxing and leveling whilst still keen to jump in dungeons, raids, pvp from time to time when availavble.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic TBC? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
This will actually be my first time playing TBC classic since the launch where I leveled my classic era druid from 60-70 in first few weeks then never logged in again, I had a mindset that I wanted to do it again to reminisce and scratch that nostalgia itch but had no intention of starting the grind to heroic feeling like I had already been there done that.
I will elaborate in next question on why I have no returned again, but in terms of my favorite things, its 100% the social in game experience, making fun and memories out of what ever comes along, I enjoy dungeons and I love the leveling experience, most of all I like to feel useful, helping out where there is a need. I am a big in game chatter, I also like to talk via text in discord but as I have a wife and children I tend to only talk in discord via mic when its required, i.e a dungeon / raid / event to also respect there time rather then hearing me chatting away in the evenings at all hours
My first ever character was a mage, I only ever played my mage in Vanilla and TBC the first time round, before swapping to a paladin in WOTLK as I wanted to be the holy knight to combat the dead. That started a dark journey for me where I became an altoholic and leveled every class to 80 always believing the next class was the one, never finding that true main. 10 years down the line its time to dust of the mage and rekindle that one class passion again...... maybe just a bank alt ...
Edit* The pull of a future WOTLK has already played on my mind, as Blizzard are offering free transfers to Pyrewood at the moment I have activated my lvl 60 paladin from classic era in TBC and moved him to Pyrewood, will focus on reaching 70 first with some mage alt sprinkled in.
5. What are your goals in Classic TBC, and what do you look forward to the most?
My goal is to enjoy the experience and make friends, simple but for me the ultimate reason to play this game again, I want to level, I want to discover the zones again and I want to interact and socialise in a world where human interaction is dwindling all the time. Yes I would love to experience the raids again and journey into WOTLK when ever that happens but for the res of this year at least its about my mages journey.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
The website, the forums, the application process, the events, the trial period and many more. I have been going back and forth deciding if I really want to play TBC through again for months, it was only when I decided to visit the forums and have a look around I decided to go for it and resub, purely because I came across the nighthaven recruitment post in server forums. The passion, planing, time and effort form the guild team is something to be admired, and the comments and responses show the continued effort to run this guild like guild used to be run, the culture has changed in modern MMO where you have 5 invites the moment you make a toon, sit there in a soulless guild playing like its a chore. Thats not the experience I want an I truly believe Nighthaven will rekindle the passion and love I have for the game.
I have moved my lvl 70 druid from Hydraxian waterlords so I have a bit of gold and some basics to help me along in preparation of hopefully joining Nighthaven, I have made my mage on pyrewood and will start leveling while I patiently await a reponse.
7. What qualities do you have to offer, and what do you expect of your guild?
I offer a friendly, warm human being who is looking to become part of the guild family, to help and be helped in the way guildmates look out for each other.
I will bring knowledge to those who ask for it who may be new to the game where I think it will help and I will bring a friendly helpful attitude every time I log in.
What I expect form Nighthaven is a welcoming social experience, a place to log in and if I just want to put some music on and grind in my own little world sometimes then that is ok and if I want to put together a dungeon run or join in with an event then thats great as well. Participation I see an an important part of being in a guild so I would like to see events and activities.
8. Where did you hear of us?

10. Is there anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
