1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village, the one with which you wish to join Nighthaven? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
Decisions decisions… As I recently transferred some of my toons here from Hydraxian Waterlords, I needed to pick new names for them, and my disability to choose… Well. Hopefully this will be a match made in heaven for both parts, so I can get all of my chars to join the new home in Nighthaven.
My warlock, Zemla lvl 60-61, will get the honor to be the front figure. She’s the bravest of them at the moment and recently arrived at Honor Hold. So Zemla it is!
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
I live in Sweden so I go by CET, and as I work 2-shifts playtime during the week differs. It’s either mornings or evenings, and on weekends I tend to play too much…
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
Started 2005 and have played/raided/leveled alts/pet-battled/enjoyed the game on and off since.
In retail I mainly played/raided with a cute female dwarf paladin named Ailse. Most oftenly a holy white knight with a kind heart but who didn’t hesitate to call out judgement and execution of culprits. She’s my fantasy alter ego. Unfortunately that name is taken on Pyrewood so I haven’t transferred my classic clone here yet.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic TBC? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself )
Honestly I am more into Classic Vanilla, but when I started up again a few weeks ago after a year long break, my home at Hydraxian Waterlords was dead (horror). Everybody was just gone. The server has around 30 active players today. I realized that if I want to enjoy the game as I want to I had to move forward and join the TBC (more horror).
I have a severe case of altoholism and I love all my toons. I enjoy each of their journeys to become the heroes that Azeroth wants and needs. Leveling is epic. I also love to do dungeons and perhaps some day in the future, hopefully I’ll be prepared to raid with you. I’m a casual player and for me that means full focus when raiding, but when raidtime is up I get to do other stuff at my own pace, ingame or irl.
I mainly play WoW together with my wife, Snowdaisy, who recently joined your guild.
5. Which goals do you have in Classic TBC and what do you look forward to the most?
World domination! Or no, not really my thing. My one and only reason to play Classic WoW is to have a great time, preferably with like-minded friends. It doesn’t matter much what I do; leveling, dungeons, grinding, fishing or just participating in guild chat, as long as it brings joy to that moment of gametime. I do love the slow pace that Classic offers.
I really look forward to quest in Nagrand with the vast green fields. It reminds me of my first toon as a young tauren roaming around in Mulgore. The memories! Those two places are my favourites in WoW.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
First off I think Nighthaven is a beautiful guild name.
I read over missus shoulder when she searched the forums for a new home. We both agreed that Nighthaven looked to be what we are searching for. A special place for friends that enjoys WoW-time, sometimes together and sometimes on their own, and always willing to help eachother out. Your code of ethics showed us you’re like-minded with us and our own beliefs.
She wrote her application immediately, I generally just take more time to get my thumbs out. Decisions decisions…
Also the Gnome-run that you hosted looked like a fun event to participate in!
7. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I hope to bolster your ranks with my skills and knowledge that comes from 15 years of WoWing and 47 years of irl-living.
I expect a friendly “atmosfear”, to have good times and meet new friends to play and interact together with. Best case scenario it will become an extended cyber-family.
8. Where did you hear of us?
My wife found you at the WoW-forum.
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
Snowdaisy, my wife.
10. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we'd be a good match for each other?
We have two grown up (20+) daughters, both studying, both gaming and both still living at home… There are two cats roaming around here causing mayhem to our apartment. I dream of winning big time in the lottery. Until then I work in the industry.
Last year I tried out Guildwars2, also a fantastic epic adventure, but as they say: once a WoW-player always a WoW-player.
I think your web-page is awesome with the pictures of Peter Lee, it was really nice to watch and read.
Finally finished after writing, re-writing, recomposing and then some. I really hope you’ll consider my application and me as a champion for your cause. Those 55 XP to discover Nighthaven can be the reason I reach level 70 or not!
May the warm rays of sun fall upon this guild.
