Good Afternoon from Cardiff.
I have recently decided to return to World of Warcraft after stopping playing shortly after Wrath was released (just went on to do other things). i have no real interest in the “new WoW” and just set up some new characters in TBC to relive some of the fun I had during the original game.
In my previous incarnation I Raided to Kara level but could never commit the time to always do it. I am a very casual\social player and often go for a few days without jumping on. Sometimes i am only on for a short time and sometimes I am just using the game to destress after work so can be quiet.
I do miss the chatter of a guild and I am interested in joining a guild that is really just there to enjoy the nature of the original game and occasionally help out a fellow gamer with some of the low level quests and dungeons. From your texts it seems like you guys have the right balance and wondered whether you might be willing to grant me an audience.
I look forward to hearing from you

1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
Gwaelod - Priest - 19
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
I normally pop on between 8 or 9 UK time for an hour or so. Can rarely get on over a weekend due to kids clubs
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I joined on the first day of release back in 2005 after being on an open beta of the original game and played until shortly after Wrath. Just lost interest and only came back in the last month or so when i saw the original game had been re-released. I was never a major Raider but did Raid to Kara level as much as my social life would allow.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
I love to immerse myself in the landscapes. My love now is rediscovering the old lands i first saw back in 2005. I love quietly grinding and do like to thing i am living in the world (never did the RP side of things). I loved the low level dungeons but while i loved the look and feel of them, i thought the raids were a bit serious for my liking.
Always loved Blackrock Spire and the DeadMines.
5. Which goals do you have in TBC and what do you look forward to the most in the expansion? (Provided you intend to play TBC)
Goal is simple, just to enjoy the different characters and classes slowly leveling them and following the story lines. No interest in racing to the end game.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
Quite simple, you sell the Guild as one that i would enjoy. I can be quiet when online but I really enjoy it when a small group get together to do tough quests and low level dungeons. I am hoping to enjoy the same social aspects that I enjoyed with Night in the original 2005 release and then Tranquility in TBC.
7. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I am mature and not too serious. I love to help where I can and gracious when the recipient of help. I offer you no trouble, no moaning and no disrepute when in game (or elsewhere of course).
8. Where did you hear of us?
I found your recruitment post on the official forum.
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
Afraid not. I have tried to find out if any of my old online friends are still playing but no luck yet... who knows, maybe somebody is here.
10. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I am a married 46yo man with two young kids.... I am tired and in need of escaping to a different world from time to time
