First of all sorry for my bad english. Since I am german, I always played on german realms.
I understand english relatively well but I basically never get the opportunity to talk or write in english. So this is a good test of my english skills.
1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
The name of my character is Nathos, he is a lvl. 62 Dwarf Priest. I level him as an Shadowpriest. When I hit level 70 I might respecc, but I'm not quite sure yet
Note: Currently he ist still on the realm „Razorfen (ger)“. I'm planing to transfer him in the next days.
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
Mon – Fri I'm normally online between 7pm to 11pm (CET)
At the weekend I often play in the morning hours or at noon too.
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I started playing WoW in August 2005. Back then I was in the 9th grade and played together with 5 of my best friends.
Our Characters were on the german PvP Realm „Destromath“. In Vanilla I played pretty casualy. World of warcraft was my first MMO and I felt absolutely in love with it.
As of release of „vanilla-tbc“ we rerolled Horde. This was the time when I really got into raiding. I joined a pretty 'Hardcore' guild with 4-5 progress days per week. It was absolutly insane and time consuming but I had so much fun (and enough time).
Looking back I would never want to play as much as then but I don't regret the time.
Shortly before the release of wotlk I joined the german military for the basic military service (9 months).
I wasn't able to play as much as before, so I joined a pretty relaxed casual guild. We raided here and there a little bit but nothing too serious. This was probably my best time in Azeroth. I met so many people I am still friends with today and also I met my future wife's sister then
We had a wonderful time together and met several times in real life too!
I played with the same group of people until middle of MoP. U nfortunately more and more people quit playing WoW to the point the guild colapsed.
Since then I never quite played as regularly as before.
WoD I almost skipped completly, Legion I played a lot at beginning but lost intrest after a year or so. BfA was the same as WoD for me...I stopped playing after the first to weeks.
For Shadowlands I was absolutly hyped! I really enjoyed the first 2 months but without being a member of a guild or knowing anyone to play with I lost intrest .
Classic-WoW I played pretty casualy. I mained a Warrior I raided a little bit. I had so much fun at times but never felt at home...I was and I am constantly in search for the 'perfect Guild'. I read all the forums, dig into countles of discord-servers but never found the one place I wanted to stay....until I stumbled over your thread.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself )
My favorite thing about WoW is the community. I am 32 years old now. I have a wife and a full time job. When I play this game, I want to relax and have a good time. Chatting with likeminded people is my favorite thing to do. I love running Dungeons or farming stuff together. Since I played this game for almost half of my life, I would say, that I'm pretty experienced. I know how this game works and I love to give some of that knowledge to other prople who are new to the game. I take my time and enjoy every moment and every aspect of the game. No rush needed for me. Raid-progression isn't as important for me anymore. If I can help out in a raid I am happy to do so, but I'm perfectly fine not to be part of a progress raiding team.
5. Which goals do you have in TBC and what do you look forward to the most in the expansion? (Provided you intend to play TBC)
First of all I want to reach level 70 with my priest. From there I see what happens: running dungeons, crafting gear, maybe Karazhan here and there. Helping other people out and spend time together doing fun stuff is my main goal.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
As I said before, I am searching for a 'home' since MoP. Guilds very drastically changed in the course of time. More often than not it's all about BiS-lists, perfect execution and parsing.
I don't enjoy such a competitive nature in WoW. I want to be part of a friendly community. Planing events together, helping each other out, just chat after a hard work day. This game gives us the opportunity to get to know people from all over the World/Europe. Lets have all a good time togehter!
I think this guild is pretty much uniqe in that point.
7. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I am a calm guy who loves this game. I find great joy to help other people out and hanging out together doing quests, dungeons,... I expect a good, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Î'd love to play in a guild where the person behind the character is the most important thing. I just want to have a good time together.
8. Where did you hear of us?
Found you in the offical Forums (I answered as Asenka)
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
No, I don't know any Member of Nighthaven.
10. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I am glad that guilds like this still exist. WoW is so much more fun if played together in a friendly community. Even if I don't become a member of this guild I still wish you all the best! You all rock!
