1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
Benipet, BM Hunter, level 2 (will be higher by 13th June)
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
I don't have any particular fixed hours. I do play in the mornings and during the day sometimes, but most probably will be there in the evenings and weekends when other people are online.
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I tried to keep the first 2 questions on point, but I will elaborate from here.
I'm a "new baby" to WoW. I only started in February 2020 in Retail, playing a bit of BFA and into Shadowlands. My whole journey started as a solo player and had quite a few struggles along the way in retail during my learning phase, due to people not being so friendly with newbies like me.
The first year upon release of Shadowlands I explored the world by myself, playing all classes, collecting mounts, questing in all zones, experiencing professions, gold making. I did a bit of raiding and M+, but only at casual level.
With Shadowlands I focused more on end-game, since retail started to become stale for me playing solo again. But I did take my time to go through the story of the expansion and try more characters.
Currently in retail I did clear the raid on Heroic and running M+ dungeons at level 15-16 with experience in both Tank and DPS. I have a few friends I play with, but I don't play solo anymore there.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
My first try on classic was back in March 2021. After I got a burnout on pugging in M+ in retail. The server I ran on is Mirage Raceway, where I have a 48 druid, 35 hunter and 20 hunter. Even though I played solo, the atmosphere of the game and community I interacted along the way in my leveling was much better than in retail. It felt totally different, more relaxed and immersed experience and a much needed break from the min-maxing and end-game in retail.
Although I'm at heart a person (both in game and real life) who likes to maximizes things, I do enjoy to progress slowly but efficiently through each phase of the game. So I'd put myself into "average-paced leveler" category.
I would like to both do dungeons and raids in classic, since I did none while leveling on the other server. But I'd prefer to do it with people I know rather than pugs. I have a bitter sweet taste after having a lot of troubles from pugging in retail and from my not so great solo experience learning the game in retail. I'd also focus on professions.
5. Which goals do you have in TBC and what do you look forward to the most in the expansion? (Provided you intend to play TBC)
To first of all experience the expansion with what it has since I never played it in vanilla. After that, I'd like to experience the dungeons, raids, professions, alts at a normal pace, not focused on hardcore grinding.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
What I noticed is that most guilds focus on end-game and are expecting you to min-max everything and be ready to push with different systems in place that make it feel like a race. This is what I'm running from coming from retail. The fact that you have non-negotiable principles to keep the atmosphere along with rules of accommodating new players (2 new per 2 week) I see it a as a big plus, instead of getting people constantly and ending up having "solo players" who want to interact but don't find a place in a guild.
7. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I'm generally a chill-out, supportive person who enjoys helping others. While being efficient is in my nature, I do not like to make a chore out of it, for me or others. Hence, I'm in for helping out filling gaps with professions, maybe alts on classes that are needed etc, while helping others where needed.
8. Where did you hear of us?
From Blizzard's forums thread.
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
No.
10. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
The 30 day-trial should speak by itself, but my feeling is it will be
