1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village? (This info is needed so we can process your application - and to know what we can call you . )
Dustiu, currently a lvl 48 Hunter
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
Mostly during the day/evening (server time) depending on how I feel. I'm a casual player that occasionally also still plays retail, although that is being played less and less right now.
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I started early TBC, and have played since then without a break. My first raiding moments were as a new player as a Prot Warrior during those days (yes I know probably not the best idea at the time ;p) and since then i've played at a mythic raiding level as a healer (I was the guilds healing lead) during SoO. I've also had my share of dpsing and tanking at a Mythic level during Legion. This was all done at a casual level though as I am mainly that. Currently I'm the recruitment officer/gb manager of a 6/10M guild on retail, but I'm a social there with no intentions to raid due to how SL is sadly.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
For me the main part has been the friendliness of the community just in random encounters leading from Rogues opening lockboxes for free to Mages also offering free portals. The friendliness and chatting in the few dungeons i've done so far has also made me really enjoy lvling my Hunter as it's very different from the toxic "gogo" mentality residing in retail right now. As a person I like to see myself as a friendly player that likes to take part in guild chat and make friends along the way, I do prefer to lvl solo as I enjoy simply taking my time and doing all the quests. I was one of those crazy people that cleared almost all the badlands quests while lvling to give an idea. In TBC I'd love to do some dungeons and raids and kill some bosses while having a good time with guildies too. I also come with a lot of experience (also as an officer) so once I settle somewhere I usually naturally tend to try help out. It's a habit I can't seem to get rid of .
5. Which goals do you have in TBC and what do you look forward to the most in the expansion? (Provided you intend to play TBC)
I am looking forward to being able to play the expansion properly this time round as I was a beginner the first time so most likely missed a lot of stuff, things like having to do attunements are also new to me as I didn't enjoy classic much sadly. I'm the type that tends to enjoy content more with a friendly and chatty guild around me no matter what content we're doing. I'd like to dabble a bit in raiding but do not mind how far we get, as long as we're having fun.
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
Nighthaven seems like the perfect match for me as a casual player looking for an established guild to settle into. Your post title on the Wow forums pretty much sums up what I'm after in a guild for TBC, I do not want to rush to the end and devour content, I just want to enjoy it and play with likeminded players (although I doubt i'll hit 60 in time for next week ;p). I've been in guilds that have used me as a sacrificial Shammy and also married of its members to each other, so i'm quite used to any potential sillyness ^^.
7. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I see myself as a hardworking player that always gives her best when in dungeons/raids. I may not do the most Dps, but I try to compensate that with making sure I do the mechanics right whether that be soaking something, or ccing an add or anything else that may be required of me. I have a rule for myself which goes as the following ; "Treat other people like you would want them to treat you" and that is exactly what I try to do both ingame and irl I'm usually more than happy to help out if anything is needed as I feel that is also one of the best ways to get to know people, especially when you're a new member in an already established guild.
My expectations of my guild are quite simple. I'm just after a good time and hopefully making some new friends in the progress that can hopefully put up with the occasional silly deaths I'm apparently capable of
8. Where did you hear of us?
Wow forums
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
Sadly none so far
10. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I have a chaotic causing cat that always seem to know when to be annoying, usually right when i'm about to do a dungeon or raid, or even an officer meeting in retail so I'll prewarn you that he may make an appearance at some point I'm also very good at getting lost ingame, so much that one of my previous gms made a seperate rank for me once called Forever Lost.
Thank you for taking your time reading this
