1. What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
My character name is Kaebayn who is a human holy priest. I am currently level 32
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
I am in the UK and I typically play between 1900 and 2200
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I initially started in World of Warcraft about half way through Vanilla and played all the way until Cataclysm. I raided in both Vanilla and in WotlK so with TBC Classic coming out, I'm excited to be able to finally see the raids I missed. I returned to WoW at the end of Legion and have played through BFA and Shadowlands.
My first experiences of WoW was as a raider but in TBC I switched to mostly a PvP focus. BFA and Shadowlands were more of a laid back raiding through Raid Finder mentality and a lot of Roleplay on Argent Dawn EU.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
My favourite thing about WoW Classic is the difficulty of the game. I really enjoy dungeon and raid content in Classic and TBC. The sense of achievement in collectively defeating the instance is one I haven't found in any other game. I feel that retail WoW has lost a lot of the challenge of levelling and made the game more of a race to the end. The progression through the zones and the gear upgrades feel like a meaningful adventure with clear increase in skill and ability. I also prefer the D&D style of adventurer making their way through the world rather than having to deal with constant apocalyptic events.
5. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
I have found Nighthaven after looking around forums and in game chat for a guild to join. I like that the guild understands that we are all a little older with a lot more responsibilities these days and that Nighthaven takes join the journey rather than the end result. It seems like a place that is engineered towards a group of people enjoying the game, socialising together and experiencing the game in a true multiplayer way.
A guild that takes time to curate it's applications and members appeals as it is not just a free-for-all with anyone and everyone coming in, which can often lead to conflict and people feeling undervalued as more and more come through the gates.
6. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I am an experienced player who can offer help and advice should it be required. I'm light-hearted and enjoy a good giggle and just looking for a place to be part of a community of people who enjoy this game. The only things I expect of any guild is a calm atmosphere, good humour and conversation as well as helping people through group content.
7. Where did you hear of us?
I found the guild advert on the WoW Classic forums.
8. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
I'm afraid I don't know anyone currently in Nighthaven. Hopefully that will change in the future.
9. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I hope to be able to contribute to the community that has been created here and enjoy the upcoming re-release of TBC with a group of likeminded people looking to enjoy this game and this world. Thank you for reading the application.
