1. What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
My character is named Zarxis, is a cute(?) but deadly gnome warlock, and has been sitting at level 60 for the past year, without being taken for a walk!
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well).
I am from Sweden and work full time, which means my hours are fairly restricted to evenings and weekends. With that said, a few quick quests before work can happen!
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.).
I started playing WoW in 2005, and played a fair amount up until Cataclysm. After Cataclysm launched I found out that the core of the game had been overwritten by something else. Since then, I have bought every expansion, played for 2-3 months, just to let the game rest up until the next expansion. I have always seen myself as a social-raider, but I had my prime in WOTLK when I lead one of my guilds' raiding groups. That was a great time.
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
My fondest memory was the reward you always felt from interacting and engaging in difficult task and encounters. I loved the community, the bonds you built and the people you, in some way, grew up with. I like taking my time in some aspects, but I also love the feeling of progression. The grind is wonderful, until it becomes too much to handle!
The classic WoW we play today is a bit different, but I guess it's just a reflection of the new era, with new generations and new ideals governing the civic view. But I still love it.
5. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild).
I am coming back mainly for TBC, and I am yet unsure of how I will face the expansion. I figured, that no matter how I decide to face it, I would like to do it in a flexible, serious community. The impresson that I have is that Nighthaven tend to care about building a prosperous surrounding, which I quite like. Take this forum for instance, it gave me a clear image of how much care and time is spent on its members.
6. Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
When writing these in the past I always gave a full report on my character specifics, but I value other traits these days. I expect a warm community, filled with enthusiasm and helpfulness, while I want to offer that exact thing I am looking for. If I get a chance, I would show my loyalty, my interest to participate in the guild progressions (no matter the task), and contribute with a calm and experienced voice in different situations.
7. Where did you hear of us?
I actually searched the forums and reviewed all the posts. After that, I decided to apply for the community I feel will be the best match for me, considering my history in WoW and my goals for the coming expansion.
8. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person).
I do not, but no matter how this ends, I sure would love to!
9. Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
I have a degree in pedagogy, and teach in the swedish upper school-system (civics education and physical education). So if anyone ever would like a friendly advice on how to combine gaming, studies and well-being in these troubled times, I am your guy!
Other than that I am a man of many traits, which can sometimes be hard to juggle with, since the day has only 24-hours, but that also tends to make life so much more interstering.
Thanks for reading! I hope to hear from you soon! Best regards, Zarxis!
