What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Valdruis, Night Elf Hunter, 6
I just started yesterday on Pyrewood Village :^)
What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well)
During Weekdays: 18-19.30 (UTC+1), and sometimes after 20.30 till 23-24
During Weekends: random hours (4+ consecutive hours if possible)
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I've been playing since TBC on and off (with my trusted Barrarin, Blood Elf Hunter), but then switched to private servers as I didn't have any kind of income.
I played mainly on eternal-wow (wotlk), Q-Gaming (vanilla) and recently on warmane (tbc only).
I came back to retail with WoD and played on and off since then.
I used to be a raider and PvPer, and I have some raid experience with Hunter (my biggest accomplishment on retail was killing those pesky Felhounds of Sargeras in Antorus Mythic, while on warmane tbc I cleared only Karazhan, before guild disbanded and I lost interest in playing).
On the PvP aspect, I love doing BGs and open world PvP.
Now, with WoW Classic, I just had to deal with the fact I hadn't enough time to raid or PvP properly (for gear progression) so I just quit in P3 (I have 2 lvl 60s), but I enjoyed the leveling from 1 to 60 and the dungeons during/after that.
What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself
I love the immersion and slow pacing, Classic games (imo Vanilla, TBC, WotLK) have so many RPG aspects that were lost in modern WoW, and I enjoy doing dungeons/raids/pvp.
I'm usually a fast leveler because I don't have much time to spend on the game (as I had when I went in school), so I try to maximize my time during my play sessions. This doesn't mean I don't do dungeons while leveling, if I find a group that needs only a dps and I have enough time, I just hop in and have some fun with others. At max level I just relax more and spend time in whatever activity is available to me, solo or grouped.
And now, in TBC glad gear (1 tier lower to current, which is fine enough for me) will be available with Marks of Honor, so it's time to farm some hordies in BGs! >
I love chatting with others, but I'm very shy and don't use voice chat unless it's strictly necessary
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
To be honest, I found the Guild recruitment post in Pyrewood Village subforum in WoW Forums, and didn't do much research about other guilds.
After reading the description I thought that this guild would be good for me, as it focuses on the social aspect of the game, which I always loved (doing something like dungeons/quests in Classic WoW was miles better than doing the same in modern WoW).
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I like helping others with game knowledge (I literally melted my brain playing WoW in my 12-18ies and I have a pretty good memory, I think), and I usually try to be as polite and as enjoyable as I can to others.
I love using sarcasm too, but if the other person doesn't like it or gets offended, I correct myself to not use sarcasm with that particular person and I have no problems to say sorry if I did something wrong.
From the guild, I just expect to not be forced to do things I'm not comfortable with (like speaking in discord, or having a 100% raid participation presence, but this shouldn't be the case with Nighthaven).
Other than that, I might have some periods of time (rarely) where I don't play for like 1 week-1 month, and I'd like to not get kicked, expecially if I get along with some people in the guild. If there are some rules regarding that, let me know so I can just adjust my "wow-pause" moments :^)
Where did you hear of us?
I read the guild application on WoW Forum.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person)
Sadly no, I just started playing on Pyrewood Village :/
Anything else you would like to add to help us know, if we´d be a good match for each other?
As you probably saw if you made it here alive, I like writing a lot other than that, I'm half italian half finnish, my name's Adrian and I recently leveled up to 27 in real life. The catch is, all I got was more responsibilities and less free time!
Oh, and I work in IT, as software developer.
If you are looking for a "bracket-guy" (hope google translated them correctly), I'm the man (I hope)!
Thanks for reading!
