What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
In my case, this must be rewritten into a form: what will be your character name, what class are you going to play and which goals are you setting up to your character.
Hopefully there will be name Zirin available. For a class, I am planning of creating a Priest. Since I am kinda a fresh face (will be explained under a proper topic), I have used time time to watch videos in YouTube and read guides (icy-veins.com, WarcraftPriests etc) about all the possible specs of a Priest. My hopes were with Shadow Priest, however what I have heard in retail and videos it is many ways a bit disliked class. This is something I must think about myself. I have configured macros to play Disc Priest and so far it looks pretty good. But I am OK for playing a Holy Priest as well if that is what guild needs.
What hours do you typically play? (Cite time zone as well.)
I am from Finland with timezone GMT+2 (normal time) and GMT+3 (daylight saving time). During weeks I am studying, so once situation goes to normal, playing during mornings and days is not possible. During weekends I am playing from the morning. Most likely, in average, in the evening or later afternoon.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I saw you were looking for more active people, apparently mainly level 60, but I still decided to write and ask.
My story could be explained shortly: I played World of Warcraft from TBC till MoP. In Cataclysm, 8-years ago, I did raid Deathwing 25 man Heroic in Finnish guild in Darkspear EU.
Unfortunately I had to quit 2012 due epilepsy diagnosis. I did not play PC games in 8-years as I could not due symptoms, and so on past 5-years I have been playing mobile MMO's - and actually still do, I have been leading a guild in Tales of Wind for 500 days. In many ways we share the same ideas as Nighthaven does. My mobile gaming is mainly on auto tho, phone being open next to me while I am playing World of Warcraft. I participate for most important guild events such as Guild War.
I went through brain surgery in November 2018 and recovered in 2019. After quitting school twice, I have been able to return to normal life without constant seizures or blackouts.
I bought a PC about a month ago. I bought a sub for WoW couple days ago and started playing once again with brand new account.
These couple of days I have been playing retail in Quel'Thalas EU, but I have felt confused and even shocked of how much game has changed. I saw all maps are shared between other servers and tbh, I have not mainly done any quests. Guild is boosting me by telling to run dungeons with Group Finder. In 3 days I have climbed to over level 50 without really exploring any zones. They estimated I could reach 120 in 2 weeks. Well, does not sound very good game. I was hoping to play retail, but unfortunately it feels too boring without having need to get into the story and actually see Azeroth as it use to be.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.)
I kinda fell in love of your perspective for the game: have a good time, relax, meet new friends, explore Azeroth. I am hoping to find a nice community before downloading a Classic. For me, having a social people around me is important. I believe what I saw on your Recruitment post that Nighthaven can offer all of this.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
Hopefully a kind person with a will to learn and eventually to help people! I have plans of staying active and once again follow the story to experience Azeroth. I believe that you are full of understanding and kind people as well, understanding my background and giving necessary time for me to get use to this game once again.
Where did you hear of us?
World of Warcraft Classic Guild Recruitment Forum.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
Unfortunately not.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
