What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Mauvé, Hunter, 21
What hours do you typically play?
I'm a shift worker and a parent so I have no set times. You're as likely to find me online at 3 in the morning as you are 3 in the afternoon. I like to think it makes me seem unpredictable and 'edgy'.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft?
I played from Vanilla through to Cataclysm, peaking in WotLK. I mostly enjoyed raiding with my guild. I've been exclusively PvE even though I occasionally found myself lost in some battleground or other if it meant picking up some raid gear.
I quit the game altogether in Cata when I had my first kid and as my guild fizzled shortly after I never managed to get back into it.
I only recently started playing Classic.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven?
My fondest memories of playing retail are the evenings spent on TeamSpeak with my guild. Raiding was never mandatory, impromptu naked 'race across Azeroth' events were not unheard of.
Because we were all "mature" and casual players we got a lot out of the game without any of the pressures, commitments and anti-social behaviour found in other corners of the game.
Having read through the history and ethos of Nighthaven it sounds very similar to what I had back then as well as a great fit for my life as a full time worker/parent.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I can offer a good sense of humour and an active voice in chat.
If I'm online and not in the middle of a dungeon I will almost always drop whatever I'm doing in a heartbeat if it means teaming up and helping out a guildmate.
If the only thing I get from the guild is a decent group of people to chat to while playing I'll be happy. Beyond that I would love to run dungeons (and eventually raids) without relying on PuG's.
Where did you hear of us?
The Blizzard Forum.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
No
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
Despite causing many, many, many wipes throughout my glory days as a guild Raid Leader in WotLK I never once had had anyone get angry or rage quit on me. I take this as clear evidence that I'm pretty damn lovable and a joy to have around.
